Protect your players' personal information
At The Coaching Mark™, we take the confidentiality of user information very seriously. No personal contact information is ever divulged to any third party. Within a team, only the coach, the athletic director and the athlete’s parent will ever have access to contact information about that athlete. The Coaching Mark™ was designed with the guidelines presented by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) in mind.
Athletic directors are the only ones who can see all information in The Coaching Mark™ site. They choose what information will be available to different users. Coaches can see most information and may be able to change the privacy settings of their team’s site depending on what the athletic director has allowed.
Fans may only be able to see a few gallery photos or when the next game is but won’t be able to see players’ personal information. The Coaching Mark™ even lets you show only the first names of players. Parents have the final say about ANY information being presented to teammates and to the general public.
